His consulting and training projects took him to over 200 cites in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Western and Eastern Europe. During this 40-year career Charles wrote six books, over 200 articles and three university courses. He received a Person of the Year nomination in a U.S. community, Person of the Year award in a Canadian community, a letter of commendation from the President of the United States and a speaking engagement at the United Nations Habitat Conference in Istanbul, Turkey.
Throughout his government consulting career Charles continued to build his base of knowledge in the areas of nutrition and natural health taking many courses and eventually earning a Ph.D. in Nutrition.
