My husband is 66, he has smoked since his teens. Two weeks ago he decided he would like to try to give it up. He used patches for three days and none since so I think he has been brilliant, the downside is for the last week he has been suffering with chronic acid heartburn. He has never had a problem with this before, and I think the cigarettes may win if this continues. Can you tell me, is this normal, and if so, how long it is likely to last?
Thanks
Lorraine
